INK (Rorschach Series)

This body of ink paintings explores desire, longing and uncertainty through gesture and semi-abstraction. Created in a period of upheaval, the works emerged through a process that balances control and surrender, where each mark is permanent and responsive at once.

Ink becomes a medium of heightened tension: painted with held breath, the surface records both intention and accident. Forms emerge and dissolve, evoking fragmented bodies and shifting states of touch and perception.

Drawing on the ambiguity of the Rorschach test and the erotic visual language of Shunga, the paintings invite projection. Limbs and gestures appear only to disappear again, asking the viewer to complete the image through memory, association and imagination.
