LABYRINTH
Labyrinth is an ongoing body of work.
The motif functions as a structure for meditative reflection, while also operating as a representation of the subconscious. Built and left to decay, each iteration reflects shifting states of consciousness, fragility and impermanence.
As Brian Dillon writes, “The authentic ruin exists in a real landscape, but it is also an abbey of the mind, the symbol of a way of looking and feeling.”
